Feminist Horror Coming Your Way

We are thrilled to announce that in collaboration with Lisa van Dam-Bates and Isabella Von Ghoul Hinton Publishing will be releasing a feminist horror anthology zine, Hallow’s Eve.

An homage to the original 1986 Japanese magazine Halloween, we are a biannual femme created arts publication showcasing real life horror and the macabre through the lens of the dark feminine. Long left out of mainstream horror representation, women know horror. Hallow’s Eve delves deep into the haunting complexity of the female experience.

Hallow’s Eve is currently accepting submissions:

Volume One, Full-spectrum Despair: Sunlit Horror in Vibrant Color. Midsommar. Seeking short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, interviews, reviews, opinion pieces, photography, illustration, comics and other fine art. 

Original works only. No AI. Previously published works will be considered. Submissions with bigotry of any kind will not be considered.

Deadline: January 31, 2026. No submission fee.

Selected submissions will receive $125 compensation
